Design Standard for Air Compressor Rooms

- Fire Prevention Requirements
As a centralized area for power equipment, fire safety is the top priority for the compressor room:

- Layout Requirements
A reasonable layout design guarantees the long-term stable operation of the air compressor room.
①Air Intake Design
Air intakes shall be arranged at the lower edge of the wall.
Dustproof metal mesh shall be installed with mesh aperture no more than 0.5mm.
The air intake area shall be designed as large as possible in principle.
②Exhaust Design
Heat exhaust fans shall be installed on the upper part of the side wall.
The exhaust fans shall be arranged opposite the main air intakes to form cross ventilation.
③Floor Requirements
Flat, rigid, clean and free of ponding
The floor can be painted off-white or green
The floor shall be cleaned at least once a week
④Exhaust Hood Requirements
An air guide hood must be installed at the exhaust outlet of the air compressor, with the following specifications:
